This a zip file with three "work" files inside, in addition to this "INSTRUCTIONS" file. These work files are all the same thing, except that the file extensions at the end of each file name control which program your computer will use to open them. ".html" (hypertext markup language) at the end of a file name means that it will be opened by Internet Explorer or whatever Web browsing software that you have. ".txt" (a plain text file) is typically opened with Wordpad or Notepad on a Windows computer. ".rtf" (rich text file) is opened with MS Word or whatever other brand of word processor you may have. INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Open the supplied text file. Insert your Headline Depot Javascript code between the paragraph markup symbols by replacing the code in my file between:

. 2) Save the file as YOUR_FILE_NAME.txt 3) Resave the file as YOUR_FILE_NAME.html 4) Click on the html version of the file that you just saved and see the results. Ask me in class if you still have a problem getting it to work.
